Recently I was shocked by photos of hens in cramped cages dying. The stories associated with the photos astonished me. The callousness of humans to treat animals like this still disturbs me. Guess what? no more caged eggs for us. So I started researching and found articles about ducks and other animals, so, I thought I would divert my humour into a subject that to me, has an emotion charged element. Links to some of the web sites I found on the subject will be placed on this page in the next couple of days for those that are interested. If you're not interested you should be!!! I am not presently involved with any of the links, but just offer there availabity to help others find information that may be of interest. The idea of more than one hen being in a cage freaks me. And I believe that in some cases it's worse with chickens having to stand and also sleep on dead bodies. It will take me a little while to check and make sure the links I put up are as genuine as I can find out.
