A little bit of history on each comic and where the ideas came from
Vee-Aahh!! ®
Vee-Aahh!!
In One Minute, is the first of a series of stories I have written over the last 15 years. Vee-Aahh!!® is one of the major players in the comic and what or who it
is, is disclosed as the story unfolds over different episodes. The files and more recent art work were lost on a flash drive mentioned below. Because of this the story will be put up as the work is redrawn and hopefully  it doesnt show up on the web.

Petellgra(changed name from Li'l Kwala as I have seen similar name although totally different character online after heavy researching)
Based on an unpublished comic Klakka, I created in 1989, petellgra was  created along with Bogga Road Bill while selling artwork at the markets in the Fortitude Valley in Brisbane in the late nineties. I suppose it was an act of desperation, a shopping center we had set up shop in selling artwork had seen a lot of people lose money. So I looked for alternative ways of selling work. I had started to set up a web site which we later closed down and I spent the next 8 years putting together these comics. I have tried to keep the effect of hand work although Petellgra was drawn in either pen and ink or pencil or digitally colored using hand techniques. I have placed a couple of black and white pen and inks to show what they originally looked like. In June 2008 I had 4 gig of files (backup) taken from a library in Brisbane. So a lot of the work has to be redone but hopefully the people are honest as all the web pages and artwork were on the 8 gig flash drive. I like to think they picked it up by mistake and will hand it in.

Bogga Road Bill

In Brisbane there used to be a prison named Bogga Road Jail. It was only a twenty minute walk from the heart of the city. Standing at the railway station near the complex one could hear the yelling and noise from inside the institution. Living so close to the prison opened up my imagination. That's where bogga Road Bill comes in, a stray taken in by the inmates and taught a life of crime. Imagining how he would have been treated and what would he have been taught? Life had never been so good for a kangaroo, normally used to ducking bullets from hunters and now learning to take his own victims. These stories in picture is his journey back into the bush and how he trains his mate Petellgra to run a business the way he was taught in prison. The type of businesses they try to run.

WELL!!!

This may never have happened but if it did, this is probably how it would turn out.
